Social knitting....... the social aspect of knitting is becoming more and more important. The Internet makes the contact between knitters worldwide possible. But nothing is more fun than knitting a row or two with each other Real Life. And can you think of a better place to do this than in a real Dutch Knitting Café?

On 10 November 2007 The Dutch Knitters set up the first Dutch Knitting Café for IKnit London during the SnB Day UK in London. Especially the real Dutch "stroopwafels" were a huge success!

With our knitting and decorations we will ensure a cosy and campy decor of the café. We will hang out our knitted socks on a clothesline, hoist the Dutch Knitters-flag and bring old-Dutch delicacies if desired.
